Aganang FM is a community radio station licensed by ICASA (Independent Communication Authority of South Africa) to operate in the Potchefstroom (Dr Kenneth Kaunda District-North West Province) since 13th April 2009. AganangFM Community Radio Station is a section 21 company and deemed by Companies Act 71 of 1997 as a public service entity. The radio station is registered as a non-profit organization (004 231 NPO) Aganang FM’s mainmandate is to raise awareness, educate, and address socio-economic challenges through broadcasting as a mass media channel. AganangFM is a full spectrum radio station that plays all types of music, with 60 % talk and 40 % music. Our programs are segmented to accommodate News, Current affairs, in calling programs, outside broadcast, workshops and awareness campaigns.
